A 2 yr old was snatched and killed by a gator at Disney World. Terrible.
I saw an article that said the kid was snatched by a gator and was "missing"... they were searching for the kid.
Not hard to put 2 and 2 together and make 4, but did they find the body/gator?
Also how the **** was a gator able to sneak up onto Disney property?
Radio just reported that they have caught 4 gators so far but no trace of the boy. They have been cutting open each gator caught.
Been around Gators my whole life. I have never seen one attack a human or come close to attacking one. We have caught them and fed them. They usually just stay to themselves, but they do move canal to canal and cross roads or land to get to new canals. It would be extremely hard for Disney to keep them completely out.
I WAS going to Disney next year. Now I think I'll go to Iowa.
Fisch is in Iowa, I would take my chances with the gators breh
Chalk this up as dumbass parents, as a former resident of Florida the last fucking place I would be at, let alone my kids play in is freshwater at dark. Gators are everywhere, and they move quickly from water hole to water hole.
I'm sure that what the parents are doing to themselves right now renders social media's crucifixion of them wholly unnecessary.
I appreciated Bigfoot's perspective and honesty about what he thinks of the situation.
Well anyone with a brain knows Florida freshwater equals Gators, and they are everywhere. Can't help if the parents thought letting a child play in water, where a sign specifically says no swimming was a good idea.
It's been a banner week so far, that's for sure.
It is not unreasonable that tourists from Nebraska would not understand there could be alligators in a resort lake, even if there were "no swimming" signs. "No swimming" signs are posted for countless reasons, almost all of which have nothing to do with large, carnivorous reptiles.
