I like Freeman but I would be shocked if the Bears took such a huge gamble on him.

Then again if he leads ND to a Natty then that may push him over the top.

I think it's a little too soon to be talking Freeman to the NFL. I was just saying it's time to accept that what he's building at ND isn't a fluke.

College and NFL football is by definition small sample sizes given they play 15-20 games a season.

So yeah H2H is certainly better than random CCS poster declaring SEC is better particularly one whose favorite team is in the SEC.
lmao youre the one that always uses sample size as a way to discount things others say. now that the shoe is on the other foot....typical flip flop

Yeah but they tend to have buyouts but given he is reportedly getting 9 million from ND plus a buyout it would be a hige gamble like I said.

Yes if there is data available that comes from a larger sample. In this scenario the only real unbiased info we have is actual results so that again is certainly better than an SEC supporter claiming the SEC is better because they said so.

The SEC got their ass kicked by the Big 10 this year. Shit happens. Now yall SEC homers hoping the Big 12 can bail yall out by having Texas beat OSU and PSU but it is already sad that a team that just arrived from an inferior conference will have the highest finish of any SEC team.

There have been 45 teams to play a ranked team...

And have less than 260 yards and 10 penalties...those teams were 0-45. That is now 1-45

lmao my god, your seething over the SEC is showing.

all this hatred just goes to show the SEC has been the premier conference for a looooong time. it has all you Midwesterners in your feels

congrats on the big10 finally winning some bowl games against the SEC

right now, it is an outlier. we will see if it can become a trend going forward. if the big10 can do it 2-3 years in a row, then ill buy that they have surpassed the SEC. till then, it is a small sample size outlier

and LMAO at you trying to make fun cuz texas has survived the longest. they are a SEC team now, sorry that has you in your feels. im sure if oregon had advanced, the big10 woulda totally not claimed them as a big10 school. yeeeeesh, what a pathetic attempt at a troll job

Maybe I'm old school, but there has been so much realignment its not really even SEC vs. Big10 anymore. Like does anyone really find relevance in USC beating Texas A&M? The old SEC doesn't even exist anymore. I think Saban was a great coach, and Bama was always a top team, but I think the rest of the SEC (outside of a couple years for LSU) was overrated and the one year when Bama won the national title despite finishing second in their division was bogus...but the Big10 was NEVER better than the SEC and the SEC was always the best conference.

Some projection here.

And I haven't seen anyone say the SEC hasn't been the best conference in recent history. Just that it wasn't this year, and SEC fans couldn't admit it was down.

admitting its a "down" year VS that it isnt the best conference are two different things...imagine that!

Who has claimed it hasn't been the best conference, outside of this year?
youre not following along...

i am saying that yes, it is a down year for the SEC. however, it is still the best conference...one outlier of a year doesnt change that.

I'm not trying to change your mind, just feels like you are arguing into the wind at this point. Even SEC fans have let it go after yesterday.

I am openly trolling anyway. I really don't care, I just always find people who carry water for a conference strange. Legit question, who do you consider Tenn biggest rivals?

Its a bit more pervasive now than the Big 10 adding Penn State. There has been more realignment in the last 5 years than the previous 50.
