Ohio St just has a much more talented roster. This often happens to ND when they play on a bigger stage (recent history at least). That disparity gets put on full display.

Game isn’t over yet, though. But much respect to ND for the run they had this year, win or lose.

As long as they score 10.5 more points it will be mission accomplished.

There were no great CFB teams this year. OSU looked pedestrian during the regular season. They just got blazing hot at the right time.

Oh well. They still buttf*cked UGA & Pedo State. Never thought they would do that. I kind of felt like the real title game was Texas vs OSU. Everyone else was a massive step below in talent

Completely agree. Props to ND for getting this far, but I would have loved to have seen OH ST and TX match up again tonight.

I wonder if they institute an NIL cap number. That’ll really make things much more Interesting.

Also this seeding is whack. Penn State should have never had that easy of a path to the final 4. Seed them as they are but no conference gets 2 in the top 4 maybe? Boise/ASU didn’t deserve a top 4 spot. If PSU has a coach that isn’t a complete jack*ss, they likely are playing tonight and that’s with a crappy Allar

If there is one thing I’m confident on, it is that there will be some changes to this playoff system before next season starts.

Trial by error. There still needs to be many changes to college athletics overall but they have been making positive changes. But as Saban has said, this portal & NIL stuff is the wild Wild West

And Wisconsin being stupid may have opened the door even wider based on an article I saw the other day. Apparently they tried to block a transfer or something and now the NCAA has basically ok'd it that athletes can now changes schools like any other student regardless of the transfer portal? At least that is what I remember the article talking about.

Nothing good comes from Wisconsin. Except for some cheddar cheeses and sausages. F that state.

Which is why you may be correct in that there may be efforts to place a NIL cap of some variety. I do t have the answers, but there will surely be tweaks made.
