Best thing that could have happened to him.

He will probably end up on some playoff team like the 49ers or the Ravens within the week. Not bad for sucking this year.

I wouldn't mind Mayfield as a potential long-term backup for Fields. Both athletic, similar styles of play... probably a good move with Simien on IR for the year.

Great post. Fields is definitely going to have injuries from time to time. Having a mobile QB that fits the offense is going to be a much easier transition than to a pure pocket passer like Siemian.

Not at this point. In Madden yes, just turn off the trade deadline function
