PS: I do agree that it would have been nice from Davis to apologize (which he actually did - check ESPN), but since I am sure he didn't realize what he was doing I wouldn't hold it against him.
I don't hold it against him either. I just also don't hold it against the dad.
Look at it this way. The dad probably doesn't know Davis's intention, the dad probably just thinks the guy shoved his kid on purpose because he's a magic fan. Getting shoved by a player at the game isn't something the league would ever expect you to "deal with".
