He was a late bloomer in college where his production came in his last year. I remember a scout saying he was concerned that it took Mims that long to perform and saying the step up to the NFL might take time.

Kind of crazy they wouldn't let him develop--but it is a new regime

I would definitely take a flyer on him if he were available. Can't teach 6-3 with sub 4.4 speed and would be good for him to learn WR from someone of similar size in ARob.

What kind of draft pick, if any, would you be willing to give up?

Remy loved this guy last year.

He cried when we took Kmet instead of him.

Also, I've been paying attention to Jets camp reports and elijiah Moore is looking amazing. Guy is gonna be my sleeper FF pick this year. Really was hoping he'd fall to the bears via trade up but instead we took backman.

Damn, he was a guy I thought would be a great pick up before the draft. Cant teach ambition or motivation though I guess.

Yea, but Remy loved this guy....Like almost as much as cam meredith.
Some of the receivers I missed on:
  • Stephen Hill, was trying to find a Calvin Johnson (?)
  • John Ross, was sold on him after watching him beat Adoree Jackson. I'll be honest, I was still hoping the Bears would pick him up in free agency this past off-season.
  • Devin Duvernay, who I thought would have a much better rookie season than he did.

His knock was literally all the technical aspects of the game. I'm assuming that's why he dropped as well.

He's a fantastic athlete, but from what I remember on his scouting report his route running was poor and raw.

Conditional 6th or 7th rounder if they really trying to dump him.

Yea, but Remy loved this guy....Like almost as much as cam meredith.

And somehow he still ended up with more yards than Kmet despite only playing half a season.

Could be worse though. Could have caped for Trubisky for years and started call out threads only to be proven wrong about the most important position on the field.

He wanted his teammate more, Claypool

I recall him wanting the guy the eagles took and mims.

Claypool was just the guy he wanted when all the top guys were gone.

Either way, both guys he liked suck. Thank god that Remy guy ain't our gm! He's legit AL Davis. You run fast and are tall and he falls in love with you.

Prob similar deal to what went down with Anthony Miller.
I’d move a mid rounder and Wims. I liked this guy. Sticky hands and a hard worker. Letting him season a year behind AR212 and marinating with Mooney would be a recipe for success for him.

So, flip a mid round pick and Wims for Mims and a conditional 6th.
