OT: Deron Williams traded to the Nets

Hinrich doesn't suck...no matter who says it.

It is all about how he is used. You don't have to go back to 2007. You can look at that Boston playoff series. Overall he did a very good job in that series on both sides of the court.

I know Hinrich doesn't suck. You know I like Hinrich as a player. I think he'll do just fine in Atlanta. He'll be the 4th option on offense and if they go with a lineup of Hinrich, Crawford, Johnson, Smith, Horford, he'll be the 5th option. In that case, he'll be really effective since he'll have virtually no pressure whatsoever to score.

i agree with this statement. if you don't ask him to do more than he's capable of on the offensive end, hinrich isn't a bad player. he's a better player than bibby. On a related note, Mike bibby is 32 years old? I thought he was in 50s. He has no athleticism what so ever.

On the other hand, hinrich was an absolute train-wreck when relied to play a significant role offensively. You dont have to go back to the year we got hughes/skiles was fired to rag on hinrich. He was beyond garbage last year.

i think he'll be a good facilitator 4th 5th option.

Playing PG full time again will be good for Kirk, he's just not a SG. Glad to see Kirk get onto a playoff team where he can start, must have sucked to get sent to the Wizards and be stuck on the bench.

Atlanta needed a player like Kirk, badly! I have a feeling they are going to swing Armstrong to the middle, play Horford at the 4, and Smith at the 3. That's a dangerous team.

Why? Armstrong hasn't really played that much for any team he's been on over the years.

Not entirely true. 06-07 he was the definite 3rd option on the team and he averaged about 17 and 6 I think on some pretty good percentages. It was only after that year that he started to underwhelm.

What do you think the Jazz fans feel right now?

I mean since the last season they lost Boozer, Korver, Brewer, Williams, Sloan.

That´s a completely new team right now.

I know the Bulls changed a hell of players in comparison to last season but we stayed with our core what you can´t say about Utah now.
