What abotu Celery Salt? That is on a Chicago Dog

I thought celery salt was only for places that used a cucumber spear instead of the pickle. But I agree, that's also some kind of acceptable alternative.

I don't know if people get that the 'no ketchup on hot dog' thing is when you buy from vendors and restaurants. In those cases you can get a tomato slice on your dog if you want, so choosing ketchup over a tomato slice means you have a sweet tooth (ketchup = tomato paste + sugar)

If you're cooking dogs at home, there's no sin in using ketchup. Slicing a tomatoe every time you want a dog would be a ridiculous hassle
