OT: Former GM writes about the Trade Deadline

I'll post it here since Dan Evans has a lot of connections to the Sox and mentions them a lot in the article. It is a great read that discusses some of the things that most of us don't think about in terms of what happens leading up to and during the deadline.

Interesting read, my and most people's on this forum's dream job is to run their favorite team, and this guy just basically took us inside the job. good find dabs!

40 man roster considerations, plotting minor league rotations to fill in the gaps if a deal happens, scouts were things that I kind of knew about, but appreciated the insight from someone who has been there and done it has to say about it. Like I said I think it was an interesting window into a world most of us will never really know.
