If it's more than a one-year deal the Kings are financially screwed after the upcoming season.
as of now they are hands down the favorites.
dont care. if this happens and we go as is the window for us gets smaller. not good news for the west

Dews, the Kings got every lucky puck bounce and break in the book and still went 7 games and an OT to get to the finals. That kinda shit has a way of evening itself out over the years. Let's see what happens...they still don't scare me. For one thing they have the most overrated goalie in the league but they do have according to Kenny Albert, the best hockey player since Gretzky in Drew....so we should all be shaking in our boots, right?
i agree with the breaks for sure. but do not want to chance it again. we looked awful on the pp we lost to depth. 4 lines played for them

Okay. They got all the bounces, they had all the depth, they played 4 lines, they had Gretzky reincarnate, plus they didn't have to play Bollig. They STILL had to go 7 games and into OT and win on a cheesy deflection. You know what that tells me?
It tells me they're not that good.
7 years at $4.9mil cap hit according to Lebrun twitter. A steal of a cap hit, but clearly the years are what the often injured Gaborik was going for. Solid deal for the Kings.
