So, what did everyone think of the Season 4 opener?
Lots of little pieces to several of the storylines.... Mother of Dragons was my only disappointment.... it was basically "Look her Dragons are getting bitchy and Dario is a new actor! Now watch her cry about slave brutality and walk through the sand"

I am thinking that will take till the 3rd episode or something.... cause several storylines were ignored in the first episode, Im guessing they get all the time in episode 2.
Also Rickon and Osha.... idk if they are their own story now.

I sort of hope not re: rickon and osha. the scenes from next week made it seem like at least some wedding stuff would happen but I can imagine that could just be more prep time since joffrey's such a ***** and needs a lot of wedding prep

I have warmed to the Jaime character.... was pissing me off how douchey his whole family was to him after he got back.
He needs to figure out that left handed swordsman shit and kill someone to get his respect back.... they keep calling him a ***** and he is scared to tell em to **** off cause he aint sure about the new sword hand.

Yeah.... but to me that was a different version of the character, he suffered an awful lot after he did those things and he turned a corner when he went in with one hand to save Brienne from a Bear.
Plus, Bran is alive, crippled, but alive.... so while it was bad, I think Jaime has changed and done enough good stuff to make me like the character a bit more.
Stark > Lannister to me still..... The Lannisters are asshats, but Jaime has done enough that I am not longer rooting for him to die.
Kinda similar to Theon with all the torture.... I mean he as an idiot and an asshole, but its hard to hate him as much after all that stuff, though he did enough horrible shit that I am not exactly rooting for him, I am more rooting for his sister to **** up Bolton and his basterd son.
