Seriously you don't like a team that doesn't have any effect on whether your team makes the postseason more than the teams that directly affect that. My "dislike" of the White Sox is at best the 18th worst team in baseball.

Cool, that's how you look at it. I have met sooooo many irritating Cubs fans in my life that it turned into hatred for the team. If you have a problem with it, that's your problem :)

I don't have a problem with it. I just find it interesting that by your own admission, at least in the past, that the outcome of a team that has no direct effect on your team is more important than what happens with the teams that do.

My bad, I read your initial response incorrectly. I added my own "attitude" when you started it with "Seriously." All apologies :)

And yup, in the past, having the Cubs lose far outweighs what division opponents do. It has to do with many of the ****** bag Cubs fans I've known over the years.

I don't hate the Cubs. I love them. They are my 30th favorite team subject to expansion

I think I'm the exact opposite way.

I used to care less about the Cubs win or lose but now it's just funny. I know they are in the long run trying to build for the future and it's funny to see Cubs fans that still try to go up to people at work or somewhere after a win and go, "How bout them Cubs"
