This is very interesting. And alot of factors that could be positive for Bears in a small portion. The link is below. Oakland and SD need new stadiums. LA has been a focal point for awhile. You can watch the video and hear more about that. One of the moves is to move the Seahawks back to the AFC West. That takes a very good team out of the top tier of the NFC. And brings the Raiders the NFC.

Yawn, Raiders/Chargers/Jags/Vikes to LA is talked about every year. But it is pretty absurd that the nation's second largest market has been without a NFL team for the last 20 years.

I always loved that LA, despite the huge population and wealth, can't seem to found their own sports franchises; they just gank them from the rest of the country:

MLB
Dodgers - originally Brooklyn
Angels - Anaheim

NBA
Clippers - Buffalo Braves, then San Diego
Lakers - Minneapolis

NFL
Rams - Cleveland, LA, St. Louis
Raiders - Oakland, LA, back to Oakland

NHL
Kings - holy fuck, a team actually founded in LA!!!

Seriously, what the fuck is it about that city that makes them inherently unable to create their own teams?

Well it does seem interesting.

Of course the question is did they lure all of those teams to their city or was this just a coincidence?

Think the Rams voluntarily moved to L.A. but don't know about the others.

As for the present situation the NFL doesn't plan to expand so this is why they're not gonna get a newly formed team.

The Angels are technically the "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim." Which doesn't make any sense, but whatever. And they're still in the same stadium in Anaheim. Ownership just wanted to add Los Angeles to it for marketing purposes. No one in So Cal considers them an LA team, they're still Anaheim. You make a good point, though. I never really thought about how all of those teams are relocated teams.

Also, the Los Angeles Lakers name is pretty funny when you think about it. They're originally from Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes, so "Lakers" makes sense for a Minnesota team. The only lake in LA is a man made one in MacArthur Park, where murderers dump dead bodies. So "Lakers" in LA makes no sense. Same goes for the Utah Jazz, who were originally from New Orleans.
