Not sure the status of the Watson contract is now that he has videos of himself dancing in crutches/a boot and tore his Achilles again.

And who knows how legit this rumor is - even if it was, I don't see Fields going there either. I still think they double dip with Kirk + a rookie.

No fucking clue what the Raiders are doing. There's been very little out of them thus far.
I doubt that would be resolved this quickly. That’s a major battle if they want to terminate a 9 figure contract over a TikTok video. I’m sure that won’t be over in a month. Not to mention, I'm not even sure any real sources said this may even be a real possibility.

Matt Miller was on NFL Live yesterday and he said that he spoke with 3 NFL execs who said that Dart could overtake Sanders for QB2 after the combine is over. Seems unlikely but I guess you never know.
Another dude who's rising is Tyler Shough from Louisville - dude started his college career in 2018 - the same year as TL & Justin. Dude's only played one full season but he's 6'5" and has some good athletic ability.
It's funny cause last year... people were all over Sanders. His hype train was insane as if he deserved to be a top candidate in that class.
He's not overly fast, big or strong and every time I saw him mentioned on Twitter his game wasn't getting hyped and his attitude was absolutely being questioned.

This is a terrible QB class. It doesn't require rumors to substantiate. I'm guessing several teams are going to tank and wait for next year. Ward is the only one who I think is a first round talent, and not high-end first imo.

Shough is interesting, I began following him a little way back when at Oregon but he disappeared after a promising season (I think that was 2018!?). Just all over the place, not very mobile but a sold pocket QB when healthy. That said he's probably a 3rd rounder at best. I think Dart is a second rounder.

I wonder if the extra baggage of his rumored bad attitude and teams possibly not wanting to be sucked into the Primetime media circus, is causing GMs to back away from the kid.

It probably plays a role, but I also think the Primetime name and attention propped him up higher than if he was some random kid on a random college team.

Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders are the top QBs in this draft. Period. They do this every year.

Before you know it, Dart and Milroe will be flying up the charts.

Ridiculous.

If a QB has been in college for six years and played one full season, it may be a good idea to pass on him.

Feels like a Steelers move but the Giants have been mentioned a bit with him too.

Lots of smoke to the Jets/Fields stuff lately. Next week things should get a bit crazy.
My first thought is that it makes more sense for the Steelers. But actually not. It only seems like it because their GM makes moves not to win championships but to defend not firing the head coach.

In other words, moves to keep the win total above water, but never actually building a contender.

Pittsburgh is not a Stafford away from the Super Bowl.
