Tough dude hanging up his cleats while he can still lift them. I don't blame him. Be a shame if Detroit didn't have a solid replacement, but I am certain they wouldn't do that.

I thought this was a troll thread for a second, but holy shit! What's with the Lions and their ability to inspire top-level players to retire early?

They were talking about him on talk radio this morning he was holding out for new contract then this dropped. He has no guarantees left on his deal and played through injuries and got ghosted by front office

They had a magnificent run of year over year success at the highest level we should all hope to achieve one day. They truly set the standard for what every NFC North team should strive for moving forward.

Cross training their 2nd round OG Tate at center.
