That guy told Smart "to go back to Africa". By the time he popped up he called him a piece of crap. That guy knew what he did. He is telling half of the story.

I heard it was the "go back to Africa" comment as well. I would have pushed him as a fan and I'm not even black. Fans are the worst. I'd go to more games but I'd have to hear drunk bull shit all the time. TV works for me

the problem is there was a crowd and he wasn't even looking. "go back to africa" might have floated in from somewhere, he popped up "piece of crap" and bam.
Either way Smart just got emotional in the heat of battle, had just got knocked down hard to the floor, and was having a bad month. He popped, I say no big deal and better to learn your lessons in college. Now he can be a better pro.

Some other fan might have said something, it might not have even been the guy he pushed. Marcus Smart can't shoot 3s, his FG% is below average, and he isn't that great of a passer. I've watched probably about 10 of his games dating back to his freshman year and he has never jumped off my screen. I know a lot of people on this site seem to be high on him and see an all-star. Maybe I'm just blind because I sure don't see anything remotely special about him. This incident just adds to that.
