You know, I've never had a major league AB. When can I expect the petition for me to go through?
I'll start one for you tomorrow. Send glamour shots.

You don't sound like an asshole to me. Guy got hit in the head, and couldn't play. Shit happens. Boo-fucking-who in my opinion. There are probably thousands of career minor leaguers who are good guys that never got their shot in the bigs. You don't see anybody pining for them to get their one at-bat.I'll probably get called an asshole for this, but oh well. I really don't see why he needed and was given one more at-bat. Sure it's terrible what happened to him, but that's one of the risks of the game. Injuries happen and they can be devastating. This was nothing more than a publicity stunt and IMO and the Marlins jumped at the opportunity to try and save face as an organization after the shitty year they had with a dumbass manager. My baseball career ended in high school due to injuries, but I was being scouted heavily by the majors and I would've loved to be in the majors, but you don't see me or any other guy like me asking for "just one more at-bat." It was dumb and went just as I expected it would. Just my opinion though.

I feel sorry for Greenberg that it happened, but all of this shit is just ridiculous.
