Damn shame to say this about a 24 year old, but didn't he used to be good?
The Bulls would be a very unlikely destination for Beasley since there don't appear to be any minutes for him here and make no mistake, to resurrect his career what Beasley needs is minutes.

He has a major attitude problem. Its really not a surprised. He was a talented young kid, but didnt seem to want to work for anything. He didnt seem to care to learn and had no drive to improve at all.
Its a blessing the Bulls didnt want Beasley over Rose. Can you imagine? I know some fans who did want Beasley, simply because he could "score".

God, is it basketball season yet? I'm so tired of all the, "Player X got released, the Bulls need to sign him because they haven't signed a player in a while" threads. I'd rather complain about the team actually playing in meaningful games.

The problem with the guy is he had prodigious talent and was allowed to do what he wanted. I'm sure his high school coaches just let him play and didn't care about what he did off the court. I doubt he gave a shit what Frank Martin told him at Kansas State and I'm sure Frank didn't tell him much because he dominated at Kansas State. That being said to if I remember correctly I think his dad wasn't around either(surprise). He needs someone that will be tough on him that is respected, so he will actually listen. Thibbs can provide that. It makes no sense not to try, it's low risk high reward. If he comes in and he's a problem then just cut his ass.
