It's a terrible movie, IMO. As far as baseball movies go, "A League of Their Own" is ahead of them (and "A League" is a good movie, just not a good baseball movie).

There is one good scene in the movie, which is when Brad Pitt is in the warroom with his lead scouts, and tells them off. The rest of the movie is Brad Pitt sitting in a workout room doing pullups, not watching his team, and driving a truck in a vacant lot thinking to himself.

Two and a half hours, and 30 dollars wasted.

If you spend 30 bucks to go see any movie. You're a fool.

I spent 5.25 on the ticket.. got a dollar burger beforehand also.

I finally watched this movie the other day if that's any consolation. I dug it too. Gotsta love baseball and Redbox!

I don't remember exactly, but I would say those scenes totaled less than 5 minutes of actual screen time. Way to be over-dramatic, though.

I thought the movie was good, but Jonah Hill getting a best supporting actor nod is a stretch, though.

Yeah.. Anyone who can only see what happening on the screen and not understand the message that its portraying to everyone in normal life is pretty dense.
