The article didn't seem to mention it, but what would happen if a team didn't do as directed?

Also, which cheapskate owner got the line added in that they needed to be reimbursed for that assistant coach for up to two years?

Probably not many in comparison, but there are plenty of minorities. There are only about 30 jobs to fill.

I’d be curious to know which (if any) teams didn’t have a minority on staff last year? I know there’s a dearth of minority head coaches but most staffs that I’ve seen are pretty diverse. I’m not sure this is going to to change much of anything.

Until we no longer need these kind of rules, there is a problem.

Still not sure race or gender is a qualification, but if owners are going to ignore qualified candidates because of those two factors, then something must be done.....

What is the penalty if this isnt met?
What level offensive position must this person be?
What is a woman?
What if the "woman" becomes a trans man.....is that team in violation?
What if the hire is biracial...and part of him/her is white.....does that count or is it a violation?

Always love hiring "requirements" based on having a penis/vagina and one's skin color.
