BG also put us in a ton of holes. Sure, he had a lot of big games scoring the ball.. but there were also a lot of games where he couldn't stop whoever he was guarding, even if he was trying.. which he didn't do much of. Then there was his famous dribbling the ball all fancy and shit for 19 seconds in one spot and shoot a dumb 3 with someone right in his face.
And like I said earlier, it's easy to see why the Bulls wanted Deng more than they wanted Gordon. I don't think Deng is worth the money he got either, but he can help the team even when he's not scoring, like by playing defense, rebounding and actually hustling. If Gordon isn't scoring, he isn't doing anything else.
And the Bulls had something good going and Ben had a chance to be part of it. He instead chose to take a couple million more to play for our rivals. I don't miss him at all.
