He would have came unglued during the Seattle game.

I hate using this word but I'm starting to think B Marsh is Special person.

At the point in time that word was used correctly, it meant people that are slow or having underdeveloped intelligence. You can call him socially Special person if you like but it's founded in another mental illness. The reason it's become frowned upon is because it's used in a derogatory fashion against those of normal intelligence like you just did to become a synonym for stupid or obtuse. Your usage may be correct to it's current form but it will only prolong what you don't like about it.

Wouldn't have mentioned it if you didn't say you hate it.

for those of you who feel the team is better off without him you sure do spend a hell of a lot of time talking about him.

Sounds like the Bears followed his advice and dealt with the person before the player.

dudes a dick.. but could ball... i would have kept him..

Lol he wasn`t even a dick; he did tons of community work in Chicago and seemed like a first-one-in, last-one-out type of player. He was one of the only guys that actually gave a **** during the train wreck that was last season. It makes sense that other players on that team thought he was a dick because the majority of the team just wanted to call it quits on the season by week 8. If Marshall`s crazy, I want more crazy on this team.

Marshall has a history of doing his own workouts and not necessarily following the group in practice etc and that hasn't stopped. I agree he is talented and no longer a bad guy. I don't know if I would have kept him because I don't know exactly what was going on in practice, the locker room or if they could have stopped him from flying to NY every week. I do miss his talent. This is one of those situations where I don't love or hate the move because I'm in no position to judge. I just understand why it happened. Much like how I'll feel if they trade Forte.

I watch football on sundays to watch a receiver put up 100+ yard games with astonishing consistency. I don't really care what he does or says off the field unless he murders or rapes someone or tries to push her out of a car like Johnny Manziel.

I agree with this premise. But how about a guy who was convicted when he grabbed a woman, threw her to the floor, threw her into the bathtub, slammed her against a futon, and strangled her? Does that constitute a deal-breaker for you? It does for me.

And Dan Marino was a 4-time Super Bowl winner... it's a team sport.

It is a team sport
And 40% of the leauge makes the playoffs each year
And half the tean every year missed the playoffs the year before
And he's been on some talented teams who made the playoffs just before he arrived and just after he left

Yet....

Somehow he's managed to never make the playoffs with 4 teams over 10 seasons in the nfl?

Hes a talented wr...however he drops alot of balls, seems to have a me first attitude, and wears out his welcome; quickly......he's easlily replaceable.

I don't get it. Why do some of you have so much dislike for Marshall? He has a temper, ok. He speaks his mind and sometimes its not what everyone else is thinking, ok. Rather than giving the guy credit for what he's been through and most importantly HOW he's trying to overcome it, you keep pushing the guy further and further down without letting him get back up.

The guy is a celebrity and is trying to change his life for the better and at the same time speaking his mind. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Oh and something less important to you bashers................ he was the best thing, next to Forte we've had in a loooooooooooooooooooong time! And guess what, he's still playing great ball.

Greatest receiver in Bears history, and it's not even fucking close.
