I'd argue that Creed is the greatest anti hero in the history of cinema. There is no Rocky II if Carl Weathers was not so great as Creed in I.

Not everyone could have played the role like he did
You could argue that, but I would guess you would lose.

Carl Weathers was fine in that movie, but he was no Heath Ledger as the Joker just to give one example.

Brando in "On The Waterfront".....but I'm sure there are quite a few over the years of movie making. But would be a great discussion imo...

I got to meet him at the Chicago Fan Expo two summers ago.
