Rinne should be due a least a Bryzgalov type deal. At least.
Who knows, maybe last year's run into the 2nd round will bring out more fans and Nashville will actually pay out some contracts.

If things remain the same, quite possibly. I think a lot depends on the next CBA. The current one expires after this season. Also, maybe, just maybe, Nashville fannies fill the seats.

Heh, no worries. In fact, if you wander around, you'll find some Preds fans (and maybe Hog, too, if I remember correctly) who will declare that Weber is the 2nd best defenseman in Nashville.
I'm not much of fan of these kind of debates.

If Wiz is worth 5.5, then Weber is worth 11. I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some Wizzer (of course I loved Cam Barker too so I'm biased), but Weber is one of the premier defenders in the league and he was well worth 7.5.

Exactly. I think the cost for defensemen is going up and the Hawks managed to sign their important guys right before the cost went up.
