Yeah, it was dumb. I don’t have kids but if the worst thing they did was make a prank call I’d feel pretty fortunate. Especially to shadeur….dudes dad probably LOLed on the downlow

Drunken, prank, whatever you want to call it. I work in IT and can guarantee you that every single coach, trainer, and assistant for every single team and every NFL employee in the league is going to be reminded about device security and access, even if it's family. I wouldn't be surprised if the NFLPA got involved as well, wondering why a defensive coordinator has access to the contact information for a QB.

In my book, a prank isn't a targeted attack which is intended to offend or insult the person. There is a difference between a comedy roast when a person is in on the joke or trying to make a person feel embarrassed and ashamed.
It's all ok when the target is someone people have deemed that it's ok to insult, I suppose. Basically when everyone laughs at them, so what if they don't like it.

Well, yeah, certainly not me. 18 year olds are legally adult, but as a 41 year old man, I don’t look at anyone that age as being a mature adult. For the most part, they are all kids and still plenty wet behind the ears

In this same draft another "kid" ejaculated into a sports drink and allowed another student to drink it as part of a "prank"... I guess humor is all in the eyes of the beholder. I never said anything needed to be done to the 21yr old but if your dad gets fired/suspended or the team loses a draft pick because of your goofy prank... Punishment has been served and lesson learned that it's not ok to target and bully people even if they are assholes that aren't very likable.

The dumbass took private contact info from his dad's work ipad and used it to maliciously prank call someone.
At my firm, if an employee's kid stole private contact info of a prospective customer and used it to prank call that customer, that employee is probably getting fired.
This kid is lucky his dad works for a joke of a franchise. Further no idea why the Falcons gave their DC Sanders number in the first place. He likely has no need to contact Sanders. Only people that need his number are the GM, HC and OC.

It's funny, and sad. What makes it sad is the kids were dumb enough to film themselves. Happened to I believe three players this year? I'm sure it's happened 100s of times over the years. When my buddies and I were making Jerky Boys style tapes and CDs in the 90s and 2000s we would have never clued anyone in to what we were doing. Gotta keep quiet and be a legend.

I just heard the NFL fined Ulbrich $100k and the Saints $250k for the prank phone call gig. I hope Ulbrich makes his son work off that $100k.
