He’s average. Could have been good but wasted his career in Detroit. Might be able to make it to the playoffs finally on LA

The best reply will be in two weeks......
When a team that already beats the Bears beats the Bears. A team not named the Lions. Imagine being such a loser stalker of the Bears that you're going to come back and laugh about a team that isn't your own beating the Bears.

If only any of us were that sad, we could do that at least 10 times a season on the Lions board.

So yeah, Stafford sucks, and that is why one of the best offensive minds in the NFL wanted him so badly......

LOL, you can't make this shit up.

Stafford is a good QB not a great one. I also don't think he is the Rams savior and disagree that this is the most talented offense he has ever been on. Remember he has played with some outstanding receivers in Detroit like Johnson, Tate, Golladay, and Jones.

Better than any QB Chicago has ever had, and it's not even close.
Well, being a lot better than shit isn't saying much.

Stafford is very good. Perennial top 15 QB, franchise guy. Possible HOFer if he can find playoff success in the latter half of his career.

That great offensive mind also wanted Goff and gave him an awful contract

which is why he has so many come from behind victories, so, yeah, ok.
He also averages a 6-10 per year. Where is the come from behind winning seasons?

You make it sound like the Rams could have had Mahomes but wanted Stafford instead. They had a choice between Stafford , Wentz and Trubisky.
Interesting narrative, yet it is what the Rams gave up for Stafford that matters, not drivel you mention....

He's always been kind of a fringe top 10 QB. I expect his level of play to grow under McVay, but he's not going to be throwing to Calvin Johnson. The Rams offensive talent honestly isn't that eye popping. Stafford's worked with better, so I guess we'll see how good McVay really is.
