a 5 oz 2 inch thick sirloin crusted with peppercorns, roasted sweet potato, kale/endive/chicory slaw with a poppyseed dressing. Water with lemon.

For years I championed the deep-dish pie, and would recite the wonders of the Chicago pizza while downplaying the thin-crust. I've been converted, rather than a gut-busting pizza/lasagna-pie I now prefer the thin-crust, it has evolved tremendously while the pie has remained stagnant. Anyway, yeah, if I'm in Chicago then pizza + beer is in order.
To answer your question, I live in Nor-Cal, in Silicon Valley between Palo Alto and San Francisco. Left the Chi burbs for school and now there's no going back.
LA may as well be another state, great city but entirely different.

They are on Clark street like 2 or 3 blocks at most away from Foster. My dad managed a shoe store named Alamo Shoes for over 25 years, hell I worked there for a year, so we had a lot of pizza from Calo over the years.
