Morosi is reporting that is Jacob Turner plus going to Marlins. So much for rentals not being worth anything.

Was Sanchez that much better than Garza? Also, Infante has a big bat so this made a bit more sense. Maybe.

Tigers just got a whole lot better.

But they give up a top 10 prospect plus more.

This trade really hurts the Sox, but the Sox can respond by trading for a SP. By the looks of the market and how high guys are going for though, the Sox are screwed.

I may be wrong about Infante's bat but he does offer a defensive upgrade...right?

It's an upgrade both defensively and offensively for the Tigers. If they can hit like they did against the Sox this series with everyone in the lineup hitting, they're going to be scary.

Well, I have no clue why people think they're funny putting people's names in their sigs.

Seems pretty stupid. And besides, you act like the Tigers can't falter again. Greatest team ever.

Of course they can falter which was exactly the point I was raising with you two months ago, but you didn't listen to me...

Here is what Gammons is reporting as the deal:
Sanchez, Infante and comp balance pick for Jacob Turner, Rob Brantly, , Brian Flynn and Det. comp pick.

I'd almost say that Detroit got screwed in the trade but they're probably the best team in the division now if they weren't before.

How many times do I have to fucking explain this. I've made my feelings on the Tigers and the Sox very clear in multiple threads over multiple years, but whatever I would be more worried about this trade then my feelings about it.

as I stated in my post. Sox are done. nothing to worry about when we are in well atleast I am in reality that the sox are done. im still going to watch just because the sox cant play this bad the rest of the year and the tigers wont be playing 760 ball the rest of the way so I will continue to watch with little expectation.

See I think the race is hardly done, but this is what the Tigers did last year and I've stood by with the statement they had the most talent in the division. If that is hating the Sox then I guess I do.

True, but that was an incredible run, and I know they're hot right now, but highly doubt they do it back-to-back seasons.

I still think that sub .500 Tigers team from Mid April till early July is the real Tigers.

Sure, adding Sanchez makes them better, but I think the Sox are still in the race, and I still think they'll pull ahead once Detroit comes back to Earth.
