I wouldn't take him because Morel is young and Inge isn't. Old 3B usually aren't that great.

I just want the Sox to have Crede of 2004-2006 back. Good power, good average, and good defense.

And the bad back that eventually forced him to retire?

I would wait for more than 10 games before making any pronouncements like that. I highly doubt Inge is going to be a more productive player at age 35 than at any point in his career.

If he can stay healthy, he'll be serviceable.

But in all seriousness, his health is the key. He's been plagued with injuries for the past couple of seasons. I believe that had an adverse effect on his plate production. He could never get in that groove whenever he was off the DL. It's a shame because he was a big part of Detroit's offense when he was healthy and could have been a solid everyday player for a number of teams.
