OT: Why was Grimson banned?

Our beloved Grimson and September POTM Nominee AND "Week 6 Gameday Giveaway Tumbler Winner" was banned after the Bears/Dolphins game if you haven't heard. I was told to consult the OT forums for a reasoning. Anybody care 2 explain?

Grimson was warned multiple times(at least twice) to cut out the personal insults in posts. Especially if the posts had no content to them aside from the insults.

After being warned that he'd be banned for this behavior(much of it targeted at an individual poster or two) he was banned so as to not be able to post in the Sports Forum.

His forum access was then restricted to only the OT areas so Scoot has to deal with him.

No.

Also, in the initial incidents Grimson and the other parties were warned. One side knocked it off. The otherside didn't and in fact went more scattershot with random insults.

Addendum: His ban did not originate from a reported post either. The incident(posts) that got him banned were seen by me and not reported by anyone.

After Grimson won this week's giveaway, he offered me the shirt as a sort of "makeup" gift after all of his ****posting at me about pastrami, being old now, having so many calledits, etc. I said it wasn't necessary as I was never really mad at him. I know he's going through a tough time right now.


But, I suggested that he give the shirt to @xerohour as sort of an olive branch, because he ended up getting himself banned by talking mad **** at xero (probably out of frustration that his ****posting me wasn't making me upset, just disappointed, but maybe it was something else, who knows)

Anyways, he actually thought that it was a nice gesture. Perhaps if he makes good on that he can earn his way back into the sports forums? Or at least Blackhawks for a probation?
