I thought Gholston was cut?

Jason Smith was the #2 pick in 2009? 2010? and he for traded right before this season began.

Williams is expendable at this stage because of Scott and Brown.

And Edwin Williams is the backup center who can play guard. It seems Spencer is only bring active for a pinch but is rather see the Bears keep 8 active guys and but be like the Steelers

Like I said, I could be wrong. I was trying to point out a high draft pick who busted so bad that teams were so ready to get rid of him. Russell is another one I can think of.

Does any Bears fan think that the Bears would just outright release him?

They won't outright release him.. That would make no sense.

He us trade bait though because he can play tackle and guard and an injured oline team like Pitt may be in favor of trying him in exchange for something of a late pick. Unlikely but it's possible.

Of they moved him, I would be in favor of trying to grab Ricky Henry back from the Saints PS.

Yeah....I can't imagine CW gets more than a 6th round pick even for the Steelers. I we supposed to get a seventh for Spencer?

Better to keep our own depth probably, then to just add more young players that can't make the team next year with those picks. If they would send us a fourth for the pair, I say deal. Outside of that....doesn't help us.

it would be nice to get something for him rather than have him constipating the roster and then get nothing for him when he leaves.

then again, after watching how dangerously thin the steelers got last night, I bet the bears will keep him for insurance

He is insinuating these are Jerry Angelo guys and only a GM as offensively dumb as him would pony up something to get them.

And are you a Gaiman fan?

My auto type sucks at times and yes I am. It always thinks I mean of when I put if.

Idk about the Jag game but Edwin was inactive in Dallas and I don't like that move. I've fine with Spencer as the emergency center in a game but I prefer 8 dressed whichever guy it is. I wasn't a huge James Brown hype guy but at this point I'm ok with him if he is tackle #3.

WOW...Steelers....

I KNOW the injury bug has hit that team hard, but...I don't know...I think they are just bad. I don't think I've ever seen a Steelers team this bad before....
