Silly, but didn't the Edmonton Oilers do that years ago?

People buy the dumbest things.

For the year of 2010-2011

Total Revenue $1,094,073

Total Expenses $1,078,423

You'll be happy to know that the officers/directors all list their time as .05 hours a week. Luckily they don't list any compensation for it either.

If you would like the full 2012 990 you can access it here: http://www.guidestar.org/FinDocuments/2012/203/871/2012-203871291-090c5ee2-9.pdf

But you have to have a login I believe.

I'm not an accountant, and there is a lot of interesting stuff in there, but overall it looks pretty above board. Now obviously these are high level numbers and you can't really tell where the money ends up, but you know where they say it's going.

Most importantly, and remember this I guess when you are buying the water. They listed their public support percentage at 98.88%. And it looked like to me most of the money that came in was being given to programs.

That's 816022 so far and I"m too lazy to post the last page which as another roughly 53k.

If it's one thing that I don't think they've screwed up it's the charity. They seem to work really hard at it. And their compensation numbers are enough for me. Unless something has changed in the last year and a half.

The best uses other than sitting on your mantle would be to add to your favorite single malt Scotch, maybe for the banner raising , or
