Or it could be that giving up outs is a bad strategy in 99% of baseball situations. And there are plenty of baseball experts (GMs, managers, analysts) who agree with that position. Just because CO says something doesn't mean it is wrong, and basically is why I want no part of Ozzie Guillen.
Ozzie Guillen has had more success in the game of baseball than a poster who copies and pastes off of fangraphs. Excuse me for supporting someone who has had more success in the MLB level than most people dream of.

He had one good year surrounded by mediocrity. He's not what the Cubs need. They had enough of a headcase in Zambrano. They don't need another.

Several months ago, Guillen was quoting as saying, "Who has the passion to manage"?. 3 months later it is apparent the team has quit on him, and you want this clown butchering the English language@Wrigley?.

Bobby Valentine is the right choice.

OK I guess.
My point has been mentioned many times before, and I'll leave it at that.
The pitching staff was excellent, outside of Konerko and Dye, I can't mention any worldbeaters on that offense.

I'd rather keep Mike Quade if Bobby Valentine is the best the Cubs could do to replace him.

Everyone loves Ozzie for his fire & passion. Personally, I just think he's a jackass. He's extremely hard-headed & has locked horns with management on a constant basis since 2005.

How well did a fiery, passionate Lou Pinella work out for us? Won the division 2 yrs in a row & pulled the ultimate choke jobs 2 yrs in a row in the post-season. This whole "passion" thing is overrated & often times is a detriment to the team. I hope the Cubs steer clear of this jagaloon.

Props for using one of my favorite words. Lol

I've got a manager in Earl Weaver that has had far more success than Ozzie ever has that agrees with my position as well.
