I would be SHOCKED if the Bulls finished with at least 62 wins next season.

Pacers really improved their defense by signing Hill.

If the Bucks are anywhere close to healthy, they will be at least a 41-win team.

I second that. I doubt we'll even get to 58 wins next year. We really overachieved this season and it'd be foolish to think we could replicate that kind of regular season easily. That said, we're still going to be pretty darn good and if we do in fact hit like 60 wins I won't be terribly surprised.

oh ye of little faith...sure many things went right this year, but there are things that can be improved. you gotta expect that derrick will come back just as good as he was this year if not better. maybe some of the 50/50 games won't go our way but that probably takes out 3 wins max.

a lot of the teams who scared us coming into the season won't look as scary. the bulls started off only 9-8. they lost to okc, ny, boston, SA, LA, denver without rose, orlando and boston. okc and ny could be alright, but i would bet boston, sa, la, denver, and orlando will all fall off next year. in fact, the only team in the nba who i'm afraid of if i'm chicago is miami, i think everyone else is more than beatable.

so between teams falling off and the bulls at worst being the same with rose's improvement and boozer's losses balancing out, you gotta imagine the bulls won't be as injured this year in the frontcourt.

you guys point out that milwaukee and indiana are both better, but they're still significantly worse than the bulls. max these two get about 43 wins each. if they each steal one more from chicago, and any game they get will be a steal, that's still only three losses in the division and that's about all you can expect.

60-22, i predict it now.

overall, i think the bulls will still finish with 60 wins next year, especially if they get a secondary scorer.

although some of the bigger teams are beginning to fall off...i think the surrounding division is getting stronger

i still see the bulls getting around 55-60 wins next season...especially when you can still beat up on detroit and cleveland

even though milwaukee and indiana are much improved, they are still teams that chicago could beat up on IMO.

George Hill we picked up specifically to score and guard Drose. I like the move but i really wanted Chris Singleton of Florida state. And David Bertans i scouted him a little in Europe he was by far the best shooter in the draft. He wont come over for 4 years but a 6'11 dynamic SF would of been nice to have.

We could of added a George hill type FA IMO but w/e

We shall see what the Pacers do in FA we have lots of $$$

Hopefully we save it for 2012 and throw a max contract at Eric Gordon

That will still be Paul George's job. Only LBJ locked Rose down more.

Meh, if we fill that SG spot properly, we'll see 60 wins again.

I would agree with this too. My thing is that I don't think we'll get anyone good enough anyway, so we'll end up losing to Miami again. But if we can fill it properly, we're in very very good shape and 60 wins is very achievable.

no..y'all just need someone to pick up the scoring slack...

rose does his part...deng is probably at what he can do

you need the frontcourt to produce...boozer and noah had trouble offensively in the miami series...if those guys can work well as a duo...i still like the current SG situation for the bulls(of course getting a good 3 point shooter at SG like redick cant hurt so teams cant pack it in)..im starting to think that the bulls should actually trade boozer for a 3 point shootiong SG and then get a big man to sub in for gibson in FA..but if boozer can stay healthy somehow and get back to his old form..that would certainly help quite a bit..but still noah is raw offensively and he's got to learn to really be a guy you can rely on for some inside buckets....those two improvements could be huge

and rose is a phenomenal player and a good passer with good court vision HOWEVER..i think he could stand to improve that aspect of his game and give boozer and noah and other big men down low great opportunities(there is the counter argument though that rose does give the big men opportunities and they dont cash in from those passes... in that case see my previous paragraph)

I think the Bucks will be better than last year. Idk they just had a bad year. I still think they are a playoff team.
But Indiana is looking like a good up and coming team as far as a bottom seed for the playoffs in the East as well.

ultimately i don't think marginal improvement means anything to the bulls

What you're saying is that a 2 guard that the Bulls can reasonably acquire, alone won't beat Miami?

That's what I think.

We are a top 3 team right now. It's Dallas, Miami, & then Bulls. LA, Boston & SA are on their way out. Orlando is becoming the new Atlanta & Atlanta is becoming...well they're just staying Atlanta I guess. OKC is getting better, Marc Gasol seems to be channeling his older bro Pau circa 2004 now the Grizz are on the map. The West is up in the air other than that with the recent star shift to The East, with 5 of the top 6 current stars residing here (James, Wade, Anthony, Howard, & Rose). It may be tougher to win 60 games next season but at the same time, with Noah/Boozer missing a combined 57 games this past year & the record ending up 62-20, I have faith in our team & our budding superstar to improve with health & time together.

If I have to guess I'll say 58-24 because of the increased strength of the East, but if all goes well, I think we can get the top seed again & will compete for a championship next season regardless, new 2-guard or not.

No doubt the Bulls will compete with this group of players. They all have drive to succeed. The question is whether or not they have enough talent to beat Miami. Miami has 3 all-stars. Bulls have 2 with Rose and combo of Deng-Boozer-Noah. One of those 3 needs to step up.
