I Really like Windy's offseason re-signings and FA pickups however not to much on his mock draft though (DONT TAKE IT PERSONAL DUDE). So here is my version anything goes just refrain from the dick ripping off please
1.JAYLON SMITH-NOTRE DAME-ILB
This guy has star writing all over him. I have watched him for the past few years and he continues to ball. He is all over the field instinctive can play wherever and is so quick to attack and hits hard can shed blocks he does need to ad weight in the nfl and need to be a little more disciplined he can over pursue at times. But his versatility to be able to play ILB/OLB fits Fangio's scheme imo.
2.JEREMY CASH- DUKE-SS
After watching this guy for the past couple of weeks I am convinced that you don't pass up on players like him I am thinking Troy Polamalu when I watch him this kid might just end up being a first round pick though. With rolle being injury prone pace would be wise to ad this kid imo. If Amos can solidify the FS spot I think Cash can the SS spot.
3.Anthony Zettel-PENN STATE-DE/DT
Zettle is a gritty player that can pressure the qb the consistently is penetrating offensive lines and is quick to get off double teams could be a nice 1-2 punch with goldman with our d-line depth getting thin this makes sense to me. I think he could be a 2nd rounder however with nassib getting all the noise lately
4.Pat Elfein-OG-OSU
Elfien has been opening holes for Elliot for the past couple years no reason why he cant in the NFL. He has been facing some of the top defenses college has to offer so I think he can ad depth or maybe start. Just because he doesn't has the size you want don't mean you cant play
5.Brandon Frayson- CB-VT
Brandon is a very physical CB I think could be a sleeper with all the hype going to fuller. This guy can be the press corner fangio needs oh yeah the dude 6'2 so size shouldn't be the issue here.
6.Paxton Lynch-QB-Memphis
Paxton has size and strength make all the throw you need to in the pros if you haven't watched his last game against Ole miss was great game. Its obvious clausen is not even a back up in this system so I think grooming Paxton for a year or so if cutler stays could be they way to go cause I just don't see franchise QB in this years draft.
6.Sebastian Tretola-OG-Arkansas
Tretola is a mauler Arkansas is a ground and pound team and he pretty much is part pound need to develop pass protection but could be good option in goal line situations little risk here
6. Jimmy Bean-OLB-Oklahoma State
Bean has done well this year don't don't think he is starting material however can ad depth in special teams play that sux
7.Derek Watt- FB-Wisconsin
Yes the brother of J.J Watt we need a versitle fb who can run/catch/block on goal line situations I figured what the hell at 7 their is no risk here
Its obvious their are lots of hole in this team that you cant fix in one year or in one draft however Fox has this team playing with heart and Pace is getting rid of all the whiners. It looks like in order to fix the bears you have to start changing the culture and I believe this is happening.Rome wasn't built in a day.
