I just found out I passed Social Studies & Reading.

All i have to do is pass Math & Science..ugh.

I suck at both. :(

That can change.

I sucked royally at math when I was in HS. 10 years later I became pretty good at reading blueprints and became a construction estimator.

Good luck!

BTW, this wasn't a goal of mine I had after 8th grade.

I went to a bad HS and my dad took me out.

He tried his best to get me somewhere better but no dice.

Obviously I was disappointed but I moved on.

It's taken alot of hard work by me.

Being just 60 points away from moving on from this GED crap will feel great.

Everyone, at some point in time, will be forced to face a challenge that seems impossible to succeed. Skill and determination are vital, but its the attitude that drives them to rise above the challenge and find success. We fall in order to learn to pick ourself up. And its a great feeling when that happens. Win or lose, find the optimism each time, its always there. And if your finding it difficult to learn something, try a method thats not the norm, do it on your terms. Either way, good luck bro.

I want to get this out & be done. Been keeping this private because i didn't want to get made fun of.. But i dropped out of high school (freshman) 5 years ago & have been trying to get my GED since then.

It's been tough for me because I've had problems with my memory & brain. Two big reason's why i don't have my license. Of course $ plays a big part when you have no job like me.

Being 22 with no license sucks..People 3-4 years younger than me are driving.Stuck taking a bus if i go somewhere on my own.

My dad doesn't make alot of $. (he helps me alot but driving is expensive) I've been told that i don't have the reaction speed to drive. Is it a bad thing to be my age & not drive?

Just a few years ago, my memory was pretty bad. I couldn't remember anything. I had to get help & I improved but still have my moments.

I've been in the hospital multiple times. On alot of medication too.

So, I apologize if I caused any crap.

There is nothing wrong with not driving, my friend who hooks me up with booze from time to time is 24 and doesn't drive think he just went and go his permit last week, I'm 20, I started driving when I was 18 nothing wrong with not doing it, he has problems focusing so taking the permit test was hell for him, but he's excited to have finally passed it and ready for the driving test.
