I've seen some preview vids for Madden. Supposedly it's returing to 04/05 Form as gameplay is concerend.

I'm a white boy.
It was totally white boys voting for a position that is dominated by black athletes.
It is exactly why Urlacher is so overrated in Chicago. He is a white boy linebacker.
Want other examples? It is exactly why AJ Hawk was initially idolized in Green Bay when he was drafted. It is exactly why John Kuhn is loved in GB now. Everytime he touches the ball, the crowd chants, "Kuhn, Kuhn, Kuhn."
And why was Hillis voted over Rodgers? All 3 Packer websites that I post on all had threads dedicated to the Madden vote. All 3 site wanted everyone to vote against Rodgers, so he wouldn't be available to the Madden Curse. You don't have to believe in the curse to understand that people will still vote against it!

5. Better Coverage
New blitz packages have been added, along with the Cover 6 formation. More importantly, the defense seems a tad smarter. For instance, overload on the left and the cornerbacks are smart enough to shift over slightly.
When the defense was in zone coverage in last year's Madden, your quarterback could pretty much go to town. Tiburon has addressed these issues, too. I saw the AI adjust to my plays on the fly, rather than having defenders stuck in an invisible circle. They react more like real linebackers and corners would. Of course, ratings can affect some of this -- so don't blame the game if your crappy defense doesn't know how to react properly.

EA has given attention to Madden's gameplay and presentation over the past few years, so seeing even more of this isn't a shock. The authentic team intros and camera movements during the game are awesome and the gameplay feels a bit more challenging than last year.
The big question lands on Dynasty and Superstar modes. Both had no improvements last year and have been disappointments. If Madden NFL 12 is going to break through and become the great football game fans have been dying to play, then these two modes will need to see drastic overhauls this year. We'll be seeing both in the coming months. Fingers crossed that EA did them justice

So what? Pro sports are dominated by black athletes. It's good to see white boys compete every now and then. Good for Hillis for making the cover. Rather him than the dog-killer.

Anyone remember ESPN NFL 2K5? It as TO on the cover. To me, that was an awesome football game and a great competitior to Madden, but then Madden had to sign an exclusive contract totally fucking over anymore of the 2k5 games. It was also pirced at $19.99. Very afforadble, knowing games are now $60 new.
The SportsCenter feature was pretty awesome. Good memories.
Madden has become incredibly easy in the passing realm and incredibly difficult in the running game. They like to think they're innovation, but it's never much.

I could care less, white, black, red, purple, who makes the cover of a video game. Just offering up an explination.
