I understand all of the OL talk, but the bears better address safety in FA or the draft since Brisker is one tackle away from the cemetary, from a personal standpoint, I think he should just retire and live out his life healthy
Free agency, just like last year there will be a lot of good ones there. Four picks in the first three rounds, three if not all four should be from the trenches.

The Bears rightfully view Brisker as a future star, and like someone else mentioned, maybe the Bears held him out the rest of last season to give him the best chance of having a long term career.

All-ACC second-team honoree at tackle for the first time in his career … leads the team in career starts (36) and career games played (38)

I'm not sure if that stat is supposed to exclude free agents (for example, Zach Baun), but both teams last year had plenty of 3rds and 4ths starting (more than UDFAs). The Chiefs in particular were very loaded. Philly is insanely top heavy with 1's and 2's. I know this is just a 1 year sample size, but no way am I going back to figure out all the years. I believe it probably ends up accurate in some way, but looks to me like it's probably likely that the team is primarily 1sts and 2nds and then it's a wildcard after, with free agents being a major factor.

Eagles:
Milton Williams - 3
Nakobe Dean - 3
Baun - 3
Sweat - 4
Gardner-Johnson - 4
Blankenship - UDFA

Chiefs:
Thuney - 3
Chenal - 3
Hunt - 3
Kelce - 3
Reid - 3
Caliendo (shouldn't be a starter) - (UDFA)
Wharton - (UDFA)

Also take note that a lot of gunners/punters/long snappers — special teams players — are UDFA’s.

That’s sort of misleading.

There are only 32 picks each round. But there are hundreds of unsigned free agents. The amount of players in the udfa pool is massive compared to any individual round of the draft.

It’s really missing a lot of context.

That has nothing to do with them being a priority

Are you really this fucking dense? Usually if you prioritize them you're better at scouting them and building them into your roster. Prioritize finding good players. Poles is in way over his head.

Genius. I’m not sure anyone has ever thought about this.
