C'mon you don't need any media hype for this game! You can (and should) throw out the records when these two meet! This rivalry has been simmering for years and Monday night in San Diego it BOILS THE **** OVER!!!!!!!

Put the kids to bed early, Katey bar the door, no lube for that strap-on Monday night! This is the real deal, where the rubber meets the road, no prisoners. Did I mention Katey should bar the door? Is there even a bar for the door? I think it's just a deadbolt.... SPEAKING OF DEAD BOLTS...

Following a win over the Broncos in 2007, much talk in the media surrounded what those dubbed a “feud” between Philip Rivers and Denver’s quarterback, Jay Cutler.

With Cutler leading the Bears into Qualcomm Stadium on Monday, it was only natural that Rivers was asked about his relationship with the quarterback and their history together.

When asked if he still thinks about that game, number 17 set the record straight:

“Not really. Shoot, Jay and I, I don’t know if he’d say the same thing, but I have no issues with Jay at all. So it’ll be a normal handshake just like it is with all the other quarterbacks. There are really no hard feelings there whatsoever. There weren’t really any even that night, or after. Obviously the hype that ensued kind of built it up.

I think it was weird (the hype it got). It was just the timing of it really more than anything. Shoot, there are a lot of interactions like that that happen out here on this practice field during training camp with my own teammates. So, there’s nothing malicious about it. But you look back and go it’s crazy what was made of it. In hindsight you wish it probably never happened, but it was certainly not the big deal that it turned into.”
