Hicks will be next to him on the line. Going to have a lot fewer double teams.
Floyd will be opposite on the front. Going to have a lot fewer RBs and TEs chipping him.
Fuller will have to cover for a shorter amount of time, maybe QBs throw a half second sooner and some of those 30+ pass deflections become interceptions.

I will throw something out there. I think Trubisky will be most impacted by Mack. Mack will make such a defensive impact that he will make Trubisky's job much easier. I could see the Bears needing 3-5 less PPG with Mack.

Hicks. Lining up next to Mack is going to open things up for him like he’s never had before.

if mack raises the level of the whole D, the player that will benefit the most is Mitchell Trubisky

They're gonna benefit most from the Bears having K.Mack?

Sure, they will be able to pull down those big money contracts while sitting on their sofas at home. Granted they will be in casts but they will still make some decent coin while nibbling on the Percocets.

I sure hope not. That means either we're not having enough scoring drives or we have our old coaches' minds who thought a small lead is reason to lay back.

I think it will help Trubisky, but he won't be the one to benefit the most. Mitch should be able to play knowing that one mistake won't doom this team. The whole defensive front line will be better with Mack. There won't be one person that they can key on without potentially leaving the gate open for another player. 3rd and long is going to be a jailbreak for the front line now. Teams with mediocre offensive lines will struggle against this team.

I'm hoping,

You can argue that the whole team just got better at every position, but if I were to just pick 1 player I would have to go with Leonard Floyd.

This is pretty much ridiculous.

It’s hilarious how many times Ditka picks the Bears, everyone else picks the other team and the Bears won. Someone should collect all the photos.

Floyd isn't good enough to double consistently.

The answer for me is the secondary as there should be a lot more rushed throws.

Biggest beneficiary is Fangio. He can get to the next level of nasty playcalls with Mack and an entire D of returning veterans.
Buddy Ryan in ‘85 and Fangio in ‘18.☠️☠️
