Well, after consideration and actually trying and I'm not going to stop trying since I can still fix it with a new hard drive and a toshiba recovery disk, I decided to go with what HBKRusso said. Just picked up this bad boy.

thanks again to everyone for helping because it did help since I'm still going to try to fix it.

I would defer to the legendary El Cid and recommend you put your balls on it. Fixes most everything.
