I was guilty of this a few times in the podcast despite staring directly at his name on the boxscore/recap. No idea what it is, but it's so dam unnatural to have Daniel as a last name during speech especially when you have to start inter-splicing it with the possessive version ("Daniel's") when discussing him or his abilities.
