Dan Pompei is one of the most respected Football writers in the business. He was given the Dick McCann Award in 2013. Maybe he's right about this and maybe he's not. But he's not some "fucktard."

I don't care how respected he is. He's stirring the pot and sprinkling in bullshit along with it. Even the best writers in sports write clickbait garbage pieces from time to time. Or in this case verbalize it.

To be fair we don't know how good Alshon really is. This would have been his first full season as the 1

Have you forgotten?

HAS EVERYONE FORGOTTEN WHAT SHIT RECEIVERS LOOK LIKE AND HOW SHITTY IT IS TO WATCH THEM PLAY LIKE SHIT OF THE FUCKING FIELD?

I am ashamed how after one stint with actual NFL WRs so many of you have forgotten.

So does this logic count for QB's too? If so #Cutty4lyfe

The only thing that makes me question this dude is you have guys like Arian Foster tearing their groin, having surgery and coming back 4 weeks ahead of schedule. You have Jay Cutler pulling a hamstring and fighting through it. Tony Romo, Marshall, Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones all have played through knee sprains, strained muscles and even broken bones. Yet, here we have our star receiver who has been out since August with a calf and now a hamstring.

Maybe it's more severe than they're letting on? I don't get it.

Jeffrey is no Marshall. Enough said. Marshall was hurt right out of pre-season but when the bell rang, he was out there. Marshall also was a true number one receiver on every team he played for. Jeffrey is not. The Bears are going to have a problem with Jeffrey. Personally, I think that the best bet would be to trade him for a number two draft pick(they won't get a number one). He isn't worth what he will want or what the franchise tag would be.

You almost got through a thread. Goddamit it. You never get to piss and moan about the Cutler people anymore cause youre the worst one on here. And the worst part is, youre not even a moron.

Nobody on here wants to cut Cutler.

The vast majority wanna keep him even if the bears DO get the first pick and take a qb. Stop project the opinions of the retards on this board onto all of us.

Chicago Bears: where receivers go to die.

or something like that.

yeah I guess Jeffery sucks. all those miraculous catches from Josh McCown never happened. his yardage totals exceeding even Marshall's, that was a figment of our collective imaginations too.

**** off already you impatient twats.

perhaps its the staffs decision to have him sit out. everyone knows this isnt a playoff team so why risk further injury, plus this gives them a legit reason to keep him off the field meaning his price is likely going to be far less come the off season. for all we know jeffery and his agent are going ape shit right now.

I really don't think it affects his price adversely and may even raise it if he's closer to 100% when he comes back...as long as that's not too far off. It's different for a QB to have a hammy than a WR or CB. QB can limit his runs. That's what WRs do along with sudden breaks and lunges.

...and averaging 2.2 yards a carry.

Botfly taking this message board super serious. While I was joking about the Cutler example my statement still rings true. Imo I can't classify Alshon as good because he hasn't been our number 1 for a year yet and has struggled with injuries. I'm not saying he can't be good or even buying into the pot stirring that is coming up but the guy needs to be on the field and show everyone that he is the man.

Thanks though for not considering me a moron and trust me I'm not even close to being the worst one when it comes to that discussion. Relax botfly

itll effect his price immensely if he barley sees the field this year.

as of right now he has proven to be an excellent number 2 WR that could make plays opposite brandon marshall. whereas if he sees the field this year and puts up huge numbers he will have proven to be a legit #1 that could still make plays despite being the main focus of opposing Ds.

Joniak was on Mully/Hanley this morning and they were asking him about Alshon. Mully mentioned the rumors that he was mad Brandon was gone and not the most competitive guy and Joniak didn't deny or confirm them. He said "Well, if he says he wants to play you kinda have to just take his word for it."

Joniak is a huge Bears homer but he was definitely not quick to defend him.

ND is horrible.
Lol at these mindless, maggot, meatball fans crucifying one of our best players, and probably our second best young one, for not rushing back half-injured to help this sorry ass team to a 6-10 record.

Are you nimrods this mindless in all parts of your lives or do you just bank the stupidity for bears talk?

Ya, let's dump a talented, huge, proven WR in his mid 20's since we basically have no other proven WR under 30 on the roster. You fucktards cannot be serious with this shit. What's this, Eddie Royal is 29.....I am sure 11 of you tards were going to rush to rip me an new one on that fact....lol.

Oh, but if Dan Pompeii and Jeff Joniak don't like the guy.....

I mean, REALLY? R E A L L Y?

JEFF JONIAK????
