My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Nebraska Cornhuskers
  2. Villanova Wildcats
Do we have a thread on this yet? At least, we should-

1. Mack is obvious
2. Nice to see Howard 5/5 on catching yesterday. You can see he's work on it, he looked/seemed more comfortable in those situations.
3. You could really see the difference in speed going from Kwik to Smith. Nice to see the kid get a sack on his first NFL snap.
4. RRH really played well.
5. Run defense was stout.

Yours?

1. J-How is good
2. Cohen is also good
3. This defense is going to be ridiculous once healthy and up to speed
4. Allen Robinson looked great
5. Parkey was 3/3

Good point. As a guy who has been critical of Pace botching the kicker position, I should have thought about that.

1. The speed the defense was playing at the first half. Everyone was flying to the ball.
2. Trubisky being elusive in the pocket. Nice to not have a statue back there for once. Now he just needs to learn how to make his progressions instead of taking off running.
3. Mega Punt and Parkey definitely did well in the kicking game.

1. Mack was as advertised. Once he knows the playbook, he'll be an unstoppable force.
2. Hicks was a beast.
3. Roquan with a sack on his first play ever. I can't wait to see him in for Kwit. Kwit's just not a cover LB and he was beat multiple times last night.
4. Howard's catching looked so much better. Catching in stride, with his hands, not taking his eyes off the ball. It's great letting him stay in on 3rd downs to keep Ds honest.
5. I really liked some of Nagy's creativity. 2nd half was terrible, but his playcalling in the first half was a thing of beauty and there were some really interesting formations and alignments. This is also all new to Nagy and I can accept some bad drives as he learns what works and what doesn't.

Almost upset GB on the road as an 8 point dog.
The kicker... proved me wrong.
We have a pass rush.
Howard can catch.
I think a very hard lesson learned as well.

To me it was the fact that we had a legit chance to Beat the Packers in Lambeau.

First half we DOMINATED them on both sides of the Ball, and late in the game we had a couple of chances to seal the game and just came up a little short.

To me it means that we can compete, and will get better, both coaching and players.

This defense has the makings of a great one. Smith and mack out there are gonna wreak havoc. GB picked on kwik all night. Don't think that happens when Smith is up to speed. Honestly, outside of trubisky, this team looked ready to compete.

Positive is that the Bears showed they can compete with anyone in the NFL. Let's be honest, Bears weren't supposed to be in this game

They have a lot of talent. They very much should have been in this game. The difference in this game is Aaron Rodgers. We have Mitch, they have Aaron. If we had that dude we'd be superbowl favorites.

Young team that should get better as the season wears on.

I was really liking how Nagy was using Cohen in the 1st half. It was really setting up the deeper throws.

There are no more moral victories. It is all about wins and loses - period.

- We're only 1 game out of first place.
- The play calling can only get better right?
- Leno will be earning his keep by lining up at WR on occasion.

That's all I got. It was an embarrassing route to defeat on SNF and I have to deal with fucking Packers fans all damn week.

Our positives are still our positives from last year. Can we finally start giving the props to Howard, Cohen, Hicks and Goldman...and stop trying to force positive outlooks for the "on paper" guys.

Mack was a positive from last year on another team.

Quit making excuses for question mark players and stop with the fake improvements. It's all in your heads.

So many positives. The loss negates them all. Need to see more from Trubisky, plain and simple.

I’ve seen MUCH more embarrassing losses to the Packers in recent memory

I will give an odd positive

I saw allot of ugly in allot of games even from players and teams not used seeing it from

I think with teams limiting starters in the preseason things are just going to be a work in progress especially for teams starting a second year qb.

We blew the game that obvious but we also weren’t bent over all game long like we are used to. Just got to build on that strong first half and use that second half disaster as a learning opp
