Nah. I'm more of a generalist but I was sick of light spill leaking into my backgrounds. Plus it helps if you want an effective rim/hairlight.
That works.
I'm still going to refer to it as Darth Vader's Fleshlight from now on. HHM knocked that one out of the park...I'm still chuckling at it.

Yup, some years we add more lights, this year we did, maybe over did it because last year we couldn't put up our tree, because the house was all fucked up.

Pretty good deal, but for those that don't have one get them right after Christmas. You get some great clearance deals. My wife got one for $15 one year.

Honest question, why would anyone want a real tree? I've never had one in my life, but just sounds like a ridiculous hassle. Maybe I'm just being a scrooge.

Bought a 7' fake tree with 450 lights.
The sign at the display tells you how many lights are recommended for a tree based on height. They recommend 700 lights for a 7' tree.
So....I bought a pre-lit tree, and still need to add lights???

When I was a kid fake trees looked like shit, nobody had a fake tree. Me and the wife kept using real trees out of tradition. After a few years, we were both working crazy hours and didn't have the time for a real tree, fake trees were looking better by then, and it was much cheaper than buying a tree every year.
My kid bought a real tree this year, for something new, a novelty. She loves it and says she will never use a fake tree again, we'll see.
A lesser known hassle of a real tree, some pets freak out and go after the tree.

Real trees are fantastic. First the fragrance throughout the whole house. Second, they are easier to setup and take down than a fake. Third they are dirt cheap, head over to Menard's and you can get them for under $20.

I could have cut down a tree on our property and saved a few bucks.
Wife did not want to deal with a real tree.
So she orders one from haymaker and pay's $ 400.00 for a f***ing fake tree.
Tries to lighten the blow telling me it was marked down 50 percent. :facepalm:
