Morgan Freeman is top 10 best speaking voices for sure, but he's only been really good in like two movies; Shawshank and Miss Daisy. James Earl Jones has a far better resume than that, black actorwise imo.

Se7en, Glory, Unforgiven, The Sum of All Fears, etc.

He was pretty good in Unforgiven but not key making it a great movie. The other examples could have been anybody in the supporting role and they'd still only be just ok movies, imo.

Resume means little, if you don't like the movies. Thus why subjectivity is awesome, and we have all different types.
