Maybe I will get a Supra as my next car. Pay this one off and see what a MKIV costs. If I can sell my mine and have enough for a Supra Twin Turbo and the money to go through the engine and turbo system on a car that by the time mine is paid off that is 20 years old....



when they came out they kept up with Porsche 911 Turbos for half the price. The bottom of the engine can handle 800 bhp without modifications too.

So I just looked up the price on the Twin turbo. **** THE MOVIE THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS **** THEM ALL IN THEIR ASSES FUCKING DIE DIE DIE.

MKiv's have gone for huge money ever since they came out. period, end of story. besides, finding a stockish, 6 speed is damn near impossible. my dad is a toyota master tech, so trust me when i say i've driven/rode in my fair share of supras in my life. another tech in the shop got a white, 93.5 (very first year for mkiv) 6 speed this past summer. he still paid like 18K for it. something like 80,000 on the clock. he has been throwing money at it ever since. it's not that impressive on the street. my old evo would destroy that thing, even on a highway run.



bottom line is, they are cool cars but soooo fucking expensive, even to insure.

Back when before the fast and the furious came out, I used to see 95 twin turbos for 24k. After that movie they were suddenly 34k and haven't really came down since.

Yeah you'd beat in the 1/4 mil. stock it was a 14 or 16 second car (forget been so long since I nerded out that much). The Supra is fucking heavy and that kills it.
