Anyone ever eaten chicken in can?
They even have little whole chickens in a can. freaking gross.

Also, I am not talking about chicken in a can for chicken salad but rather the entire chicken in a can.

Fresh green beans in that dish always have the texture of spider legs.

Fresh tastes 100% better than that mushy canned shit. I have no point of reference on spider legs, but it's okay for veggies to have a crunch.

I 100% Agree that fresh green beans are better. The masses seem to prefer trash, canned beans though.

I've been wanting to try out fresh in the recipe I posted earlier, but always forget to do a dry run. I know what I already make is good, and I don't want to **** something up on Thanksgiving without testing it out first.

We smoked the turkey on our pellet grill and I have to say it was the best looking and most tastiest I've ever had.

100% never try a new recipe on Thanksgiving. The two big differences are 1. the texture, fresh has a crunch and is not mushy like baby food, some people don't like the extra texture. 2. Flavor, fresh tastes better, no one will argue that.

What makes the canned beans so much less stringy?

Had the conversation with someone yesterday- apparently if you boil the **** out of fresh they are less stringy.

... but I still prefer the trashy canned green beans.
