Great two periods by the Blackhawks...and then that third period hit.

Thought Saad played really well for the second night in a row. Toews was in on the action and Kane had another nice night. Leddy is looking great this year and the bump up to #4 dman may propel him even further.

Morin and Carcillo both had nice nights on the fourth line. Thinking that Morin may stick around but I think Hayes time is coming to an end. Hell, I'm not too sure how Hayes has continued to be in the lineup and he played poorly again tonight. Too many blueline turnovers and one directly lead to a Preds goal.

Bickell had a nice third period and got some of the momentum back for the Blackhawks, Stalberg also used his speed and had some nice plays tonight.

Thought Oduya settled down against the Wings the other day but had a rough one tonight on the third pairing. Has been real up and down all year, would be great if he could find that even ground.

Nice to see the Blackhawks beat a team that has given them some struggles in the past but hate seeing the Preds get a point out of it.

Saad plays well almost every night, don't get the obsession you have with always having to act like it's a surprise every time he does good or singling him out for being bad whenever he doesn't get on the scoresheet.

You should read my posts more closely. I'm certainly not acting like it is a surprise...same goes with Toews, Kane, Leddy, etc who I singled out as playing well tonight.

I felt that he played poorly against the more physical Ducks. I felt like he has played really well the last two games.

Has absolutely nothing to do with the scoresheets, point ratios, DPS, OPS, or BS.

Two points. Pretty stupid game.

I got a feeling there will be several more of these for the rest of the regular season. Just hope it's a trend they halt when the postseason gets here.

when sharp and hossa are out its expected. when they are back this team will look more liquid again

well the only bs is saad not being a compliment on the first line but carcillo does. so it does have to do with bs....your bs.

I've explained my position several times. Saad has been playing much better over the last month but I still feel that Saad would do better with a guy like Kane where I think both would benefit greatly from eachother. I'm a big fan of Saad and I think he has a real bright future, all things I've said from the beginning and I stand by. Simply, I feel like he plays too much like Toews/Hossa (a compliment in many ways).

Idiotic post, congrats on trying. How many times in this forum alone have I said that Handzus was traded as a 4c to take faceoffs?

I still think Saad would look best with Kane and would compliment him better than Toews/Hossa, so leave that up to debate if you want.

One more win for us, and one BJ loss = clinched playoff spot.

I've done plenty of that, feel free to read it and comment on the hockey instead of throwing stones. I'll gladly throw them back.

In terms of the comebacks...the truth is easy.

Yeah, pretty much. Probably two good reasons though.....the way the Preds play and the excessive amounts of back to back games because of the shortened season. It's a common theme now and it could actually get worse. Injuries start piling up, kids brought up, players playing out of postion, double shifting from in game injuries....the back to backs are killers. This is why that great start along with their team depth is so huge for the Hawks. They have the luxury of letting their players heal properly, not having to force them back a little early because they are falling back in the race.

you mean the pebbles you throw? gotcha.

I stuck to hockey. You veered off and started the crap again. I responded.

Way to go mod.

There was plenty of hockey to talk about. JNTG questioned me and so did you about my hockey opinion, I replied with a hockey opinion. Pretty simple.

You call me out in an attempt to make fun of me like a little child, I'll respond gladly. Now the thread goes to shit when it didn't need to. I wonder why all those people have left as of late...
