If the “NFL is fixed” rumors are true, that’s exactly what it will be. And there will be at least a couple of WTF calls along the way.

(not saying they’re true, just saying that’ll be the theory).

There are no rumors of the NFL being fixed, just the same bitch tear laden excuses that have been around pro sports since the beginning.

Also, why would that be the matchup the NFL would choose of the league was fixed?

dude I get having green and gold koolaid tuning in your veins makes you instantly deny reality, but there’s been rumors about the NFL fixing games for YEARS. Tuck rule? Rams / Saints no call? And 468,936 no call holds against the Packers Oline since 2007. There are rumors, it’s just not debatable
Why wouldn’t the NFL want that matchup? The 2 best QBs, possibly of all time? Cmon man.

So.... calls that people don't like = the league being scripted? Are.... are you serious?

Your O line gets away with more holding then ours, yesterday was a sterling example.

RUMORS. Look the word up. I get you probably went to sconny schools so I can’t fault you too much, but damn dude get a grip.
and by the way, the ONLY people in the football universe that don’t think GB gets a ton of calls are Packer fans.

there was that one playoff game where the Packers got outright screwed against the 49ers. I want to say Jerry Rice fumbled the ball toward the end of the game and they wound up reversing it. I watched the play about 24 times and was baffled the refs called it the way they did. then I think The Catch II followed for the 49ers to win it, right? it's been so long.

all that aside though, fuck the Packers regardless.

Rumors based on moronic, nonsensical reasons are usually wrong lol. And besides, these arent true rumors because noone takes them seriously, just bad excuses.

Um no, the announcers and ref expert seemed to think the Bears got all the calls Sunday lol.

All the actual successful teams are commonly accused of officiating bias, when the Bears start being good, they will be regularly accused of this as well.

If you can believe this site's metrics, then GB has had more holding penalties called on them this year. But they're also the 2nd highest in beneficiaries of holding calls too.

Offensive Holding - 2020 - View by Teams

Not that it really matters. Everyone watching the GB vs Bears games this year know the Bears were simply outclassed - holding penalties or any ref's calls wouldn't have changed the outcome.

We are going to get murdered by the Saints.
Easily, the Saints are hitting their stride now. They have a good defense, and with Thomas/Kamara/Sanders/Hill I think they're the #1 team in the conference.

I wouldn't be surprised if they hang 40 on us, even with Kamara maybe being out it'll still be a blowout. The Saints just need to key in on the run and stop Montgomery. MAYBE the Bears will still be able to move the ball but Mitch can't make the big plays and throw TDs in the RZ.
